The First Fokker Triplanes to be introduced to service were the F-1's - Three Aircraft were built, the first F1-101/17 stayed with Fokker for tests. F1-102/17 was given to Manfred Von Richthofen ( Richthofen scored victories #60 & #61 with this aircraft). F1-103/17 was given to Werner Voss and carried the famous moustached Face & Eyes cowling. Voss was also shot down & killed in this machine. The F-1's differed from the Dr-1 by having a different shaped Cowling ,Ailerons & Elevator.
